The controller for data processing under the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG) is Raphael Strotz.

Contact: contact@raphaelstrotz.com. For privacy reasons this website deliberately publishes only an email address as its contact channel.

This website sets no cookies and uses no local storage for analytics or tracking purposes. No analytics tools (such as Google Analytics), advertising networks or social-media plugins are used.

Fonts and the small amount of JavaScript used are served exclusively from this domain. No Google Fonts, no external CDNs and no embedded third-party content are loaded.

The website is hosted on Azure Static Web Apps by Microsoft. When you open the site, technically necessary connection data is processed — in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the requested resource, the HTTP status code, the amount of data transferred and usually the user agent and referrer.

This data is generated by every web server and is required for delivery, stability and security. Microsoft processes it as a processor on my behalf. I do not combine this data with other sources or evaluate it to profile you.

Microsoft may process the connection data mentioned above in data centres outside Switzerland, possibly including the United States. Microsoft is certified under the Swiss–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework; the Standard Contractual Clauses additionally serve as appropriate safeguards.

If you email me, the details you provide (such as your name, email address and the content of your message) are used solely to handle your enquiry and are kept only as long as handling it requires or as statutory retention obligations demand.

The references to GitHub and LinkedIn are plain links. Only when you click one of them are you taken to the respective service; no data is transmitted beforehand. The privacy policies of those providers apply on their platforms.

Within the scope of applicable data protection law you have, in particular, the right to information about the data processed about you and the right to have it corrected or deleted. An email to contact@raphaelstrotz.com is sufficient for such requests.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC / EDÖB).

The website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Common security HTTP headers are set in addition, including a Content-Security-Policy.

This privacy notice may be updated to reflect changes in the legal or technical situation. The version published on this page at any given time applies.
